No direct involvement in politics for me, Ian. I am too old. My job is to do what I can to enable young people to take control, it's their future. We've trashed the planet and done nothing to fix it, the best we can do now is get out of the way and stop sabotaging further.


It started with the industrial revolution, and lets face it, when we were boys, the atmosphere was terrible. Certainly in Yorkshire where the buildings were blackened and the dense smogs put grey rings around your nostrils, and old people died from bronchitis and pneumonia, OK the Woodbines didn't help.

But industrialization had to happen somewhere, sometime. And Volcanoes are not blameless either.

They need to progressively reduce global shipping, and commercial flying, and convince China, Russia and the USA to make changes, but nothing will happen.
