All I can say is that living a hundred yards from a Comprehensive School, a large number of kids are noisy, have no regard for passing traffic and throw down large amounts of litter, including torn up schoolwork with their name on it...……

It's been like that for thirty years.

And while I'm complaining...…..a significant number get dropped off by parents and picked up every day, despite a small catchment area.

So I would ask these eco warriors, just how many walk to school every day...………

In fact there's an infant school a mile or two away, on a main thoroughfare, (a B road link to the M18) which at school times is impassable due to the large number of SUV's blocking the road......
