From your description, it sounds like it could be a loose baffle or perforated tube within the exhaust. As the exhaust pulse travels down the pipework it’s moving an internal component & the manufacturers comment that it will go away with time sounds like they are “hoping” a carbon build up will mask/ hide the source of the noise . Try insisting on an exchange exhaust pipe .
