This is what we normally ride when it's the wife and I. But because of a failure of a new battery in this bike, I just HAD to ride the old '76 for around a 100 miles yesterday. When I ride solo I choose to ride the '76 as it gets more looks and I like to answer questions...
The bike below is an '09 FLHRSE3 Harley CVO with their 110" Twin Cam motor.
I never thought I would be saying "WOW.... my HD is REALLY smooth" LOL. Last year I test drove a heritage softail with the 114 ci engine. It had a lot of annoying vibration, which did not temper with speed. And I won't even say anything about the UGLY newer saddle bags.
Nothing says "smooth" like a '76 FLH Shovelhead with a solid mounted motor...
