Simon (Guten): Was the clip on the fan blade not for balancing?!
Hi, I did wonder about that but it'd be a rather hairy arsed way to do it on a small plastic bladed fan. Anyway there's no vibration and it runs much more quietly since so I'm happy with it. The comment above about the ECM cut in settings is interesting and seems to tie in with what's happening on mine. Anyway I'm happy that the running temperatures are as they should be.
