When I was in Pennsylvania last year a group of us were sitting outside a bar having a beer, when this older chap came out for a smoke. Polite conversation ensued asking us where we were from etc. I threw him a curved ball and asked him if he was a Trump supporter? He looked directly at me and said “God damn it I am, that’s why I got money in my pocket “
I think that sentiment goes for a majority who live in the rust belt of the USA.
