Alexa is deaf when the plug is pulled.
Alexa and Siri have been purged from this house.
Even so, as Neil has explained in the past, Google will select advertisements based on information about you in the public domain, recent web searches and other stuff.

I use Duck Duck Go as a trouser: it confuses Google. It may appear on my iMac at this rate...
