I hope you are correct but unfortunately we are going through a period of very rapid change. There is no argument that we are undergoing a change in climate with a rapidity that is unprecedented. This is coupled with various aspects of travel, communication, medicine, and technology together with a world population that is unsupportable, particularly in arid zones. The current wave of immigration is only going to get worse as people try to improve their lot.

Nothing we can do is going to change any of this.
