We have sailed on Star Clipper once and Royal Clipper twice. By the second Royal Clipper trip, the Fred Olsen mentality and values was starting to take hold which took some of the shine off. This was a great shame as the sailing experience and the ship's deck crew were always magnificent.

Although we have been on all inclusive with Regent, Azamara and SilverSea and not seen a problem. My view is that P&O and Princess both sell off the last few cabins at a knock down price which attracts a group of people who we do not want to share our holiday with. We are sticking to smaller ships now.

One thing to note - its a good job we don't all like the same holidays.

But then, we cannot even agree on the choice between alloys and wires on a trad Morgan!
