Canada just extended their closure. Which means we will get a refund on our August trip. Mrs F is on the phone sorting it now. We had been waiting for someone to lose their nerve so we could get a refund as we did not want to lose the money we had paid out (40th Wedding Anniversary trip - we had rather exceeded ourselves and created a very expensive holiday). Silversea and Trailfinders look like doing the decent thing to their credit.

We were originally told that it could take up to 10 weeks for the refund to be processed in full depending on the cruise firm and one or two others. This evening, I took a call from our Trailfinders rep to say that the full refund has been processed and should all be in our accounts in the next 2 days or so. Less than 2 weeks. Trailfinders and Silversea have impressed me with their attitude. I hope both are still there when we come to start booking overseas holidays again - whenever that is.
