The motorcycle shop I've been talking to asked me how tight the belt was and what was the deflection. Don't know about the rest of you but my belt doesn't deflect at all. It's really tight. I'm wondering if that contributes to the aluminum sprocket wear ?
He said that the typical deflection on a motorcycle belt is 5/8" He's got a gauge that uses a weight to check that.
