I am not sure YOU would like your cv written by a Pistonheader who doesn't know you. laugh Give Stewart a call.

Phil, non-LSD axles react very differently from LSD axles. Plus 8s/Aeros have LSD axles and Plus 4 and 4/4s do not. (Additionally, earlier Salisbury axles are weak (the non-LSDs versions more so), and very hard (aka almost impossible) to find parts for. Too much power into a 4/4 makes it a non-fun..even dangerous car.

For example, I recently tried a mightily upgraded 5L LR V8 in a BTRed non-LSD Plus 4. It was super fast on the straights and a death trap in the turns.

A good car is a cohesive marriage (match) of many parts. Double (or more) the power, and you must change many other areas to control the inevitable domino effect. If you don't massage that stuff out with comlimentary brakes, suspension, rear axle and gearbox, you are best to settle for bragging rights pubside than a ditch roadside. Easiest (and cheapest) way to ruin a car is to overpower it.

It can be found on the Fereday site. http://www.feredaycars.co.uk/zetec/ From 155 to 195 bhp (and higher if you ask) with the price varying from 700 to 2795 depending on whether you want a new engine included.

The contact name is Alan Fereday. Nice sort to deal with.
