The price!
Great car, the right thing for Morgan to do, I wish them luck, but..
It has roughly doubled the entry level price for a Morgan, and with one big swoop lost 50% (or more?) of it's trad customers who might have bought a new car at some point.
Me for one. I bought a Caterham because of the trad crashing and bashing. Would love this new CX platform, but £70k - no way.
There will undoubtedly be wealthy people who can spend £70k, but not in the numbers that used to spend £40k.
Maybe it will attract prospective Porsche owners?
