Continuing with the thread, we must choose a time of the year avoiding overlapping dates with any other 3-Wheeler event we may like to attend.
And of course, the terrible high temperatures and rushes of tourists between July and September, and end of December - beginning of January (also a time of the year that we can have the opposite problem: very cold and snow in the Atlas Mountains). Remember our 3 Wheelers don’t have AC nor a hood

The very best would be October-November or March-June (avoiding, if possible, common holidays periods such as Eastern, to avoid too high prices and sharing the space with too many tourists). So, we may be ready for October-November 2021 or March-June 2022.
Now a few questions to those interested:
1 – Would you like 11 days or 14 days? Remember the trip is a bespoke travelling, so we choose how many days. Our feeling is that we need at least 11 days. And if we do a two-weeks tour, we can have more lazy days resting or use them to complete with a Southern loop to Agadir - Taroudant and back to Marrakech through another breathtaking Atlas Mountain road.

Remember that I'm talking about days in Morocco. If you come driving from the UK, France, Austia or any other part of Europe, you need to add those driving days to the the Moroccan ones.
2 – My planning has an average daily drive of 3h/day. Just one day we need (IMHO) to make the effort to drive 6h25min. It's totally feasible, but still more than 6 hours! We also have many relaxed days with 1h30-2h drive and even one full stop day in Marrakech. What’s your limit maximum driving time per day? Let us know your limits.

3 – What do you think of having an escort van? This van can carry our luggage (or at least part of, such as purchases we can make along the tour as carpets, pottery, camels and goats in exchange of our

, cold beverages, spares, etc.) and will have enough room and comfort for up to six passengers, in case our

or anyone of us need to stay cool in the shade with AC part of the trip. We're talking about a new Mercedes V220 for example. Another positive side of this escort van, driven by someone of our absolute trust, is that this person will be a local. So, speaking Moroccan to help us whenever it's needed.

4 – I believe we can make a common spares box (one or two Walbro fuel pumps, rectifier(s), timing belt(s), others…). Those who already have them can offer to share, and of course being reimbursed if used by others, or buy all together those spares and someone keeps them in deposit for future trips or need by any of us anytime of the year. What do you think about this idea? We shall at least be sure that all together we carry tools and spares to solve the “usual” problems of our little rockets.
5 – Would you like to have guided tours in Fez and Marrakech? Both cities are worthy a visit, and having a guide optimizes the tour and learning.

If you have any other ideas / questions, let’s start sharing them!
