I bought my 2016 brand new in November 2019, with 47 miles on it. I changed the oil and filter at 1000 miles as per the S&S recommendation and the oil I removed still looked good. I plan on changing it every three thousand miles from here on out with full synthetic V Twin 20w50 oil. If it looks dirty before that I will change it sooner.
