A dangerous thing in our house....
is a retired nurse. Over the years I have been told no need to go to the Dr/hospital/clinic for having stitches out, samples etc. Whenever she had a new gadget guess who was her gunieapig to test it!
Most times ok but one blood sample....unforgettable! 05.00am, she had trouble finding a vein in my arm, swopped arms, “there it is!”. Was it hell! She hit a nerve, I jumped, she insisted on carrying on. My arm ached for two weeks.
A nasal swab? I’d have to remind her it is nasal fluid she was after not cerebral.
She’s a good nurse with everyone else....
