Oil pressure on my '76 4/4 remains pretty constantwhether hot or cold.
Water temperature also goes up when pushed along motorways, but not as much as yours. It might be worth removing the radiator and giving the core a good flush, plus a wash out of the block's waterways.
Do you have a standard engine fan or an electric replacement?
