Not mine but close to the 1968 2 litre 911S with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, owned in the mid 70's. It had been re-sprayed in a Ford special emerald green metallic.

Bought with 85,000 miles on the clock and sold with 130,000. Everything still worked including electric sunroof. Only parts attended to were overhaul of throttle body spindles and cam chain tensioners, oh and had to put a new clutch cable in. Idling was poor when bought but a quick tweak of the distributor fixed that. Remember the rev limiter acting at something over 7,000 rpm and acheived by a clever centrifugal rotor arm in the distributor. Sadly the bodywork let it down though. PCD 756G went to Malta still looking OK.
