I know what you mean by this but just a reminder that today's F1 cars have no traction control and no ABS and tyres that only work within very narrow temperature windows. They are not in any way remote control and cannot be tweaked from the pits in the way they could a few years back.

It only needs weather conditions like today to demonstrate how difficult a modern F1 car is to control and why it is very fair to say that Lewis is one of the greatest Grand Prix drivers ever. If not the greatest.
