Bonsie I don't disagree with the underlying message but I am sad to say that quite a lot of the not so cheap crappy stuff is also made in China and other offshore locations. It's not the quality that mandates the source?
It is quote possible to make it happen - Nissan in Sunderland.
It's not a British issue, ask anyone in most of the EU, Australia and other places about offshoring and you will find the answer consistent.
Have a look at companies like Dyson, Ineos and others and ask yourself what has driven them away.
Why is Amazon able to make such profits.
Vodafone seem to reside in Luxembourg (which is part of the EU right, yet tax seems oddly different)
