Nor was I but when you order Honey Leather one would assume that Honey Leather would be used throughout. We have a friend who got Honey Leather seats AND Boot Straps.
I suspect it's whatever bits were laying around!
Maybe they mass produced the straps and dash inserts all black to save time/hydes. Who knows.
Let's face it, the build quality and consistency isn't great, but we can't complain because no one else would have the balls/lunacy to make such a car in the first place!
It was interesting visiting the factory as there is a whole assembly line for the normal cars, and basically just a corner where they put together the 3 wheelers.
