Assuming it has standard for that period Ford 1600 Xflow engine, I would suggest fitting new points and certainly condenser as a start before checking for spark. If none then try a new coil, all obtained as suitable for common car of that era, Cortina/Capri etc. Bear in mind though the coil needs to work with ballast resistor if fitted.
