Whilst I understand the nostalgia and the desire for a classic car (in general) surely the "ultimate spec +8" has got to be the 380bhp modern car with ABS airbags (I am assuming here) and all the more modern accoutrements?
As always it depends what you want. If, like many trad owners, you're after a more vintage experience then a modern car is not what you'd want at all. A narrow bodied one with a 5 speed conversion for me too please.
