If you went with agile on octopus yes currently the average tariff is high but if you can export at the moment it is over £2 per kwh in the evening, there are all sorts. Of things you can take advantage of if on a smart meter and with the right attitude and even better if using givenergy battery storage.

Re the mini unless you are mainly doing high speeds on your local trips you'll easily get 100 + range out of it, being fwd it's more efficient than the rwd is with the same dive train, even with it being a heavier car, that said the rear isn't really useable (it's a seat shaped parcel shelf)
