I’ve found exactly that, my 3.3 kWh array keeps my two EV’s charged for nothing in the summer and occasional overnight, midnight to 4.30 am, charging at 5 p/kWh on octopus go tariff, in the winter, I have a referral code for £50 each if it helps?
Once you go electric you’ll never go back, virtually free motoring, around £50 annual service costs, which is extortionate for what they do, no exhaust clutch radiator, oil or filter or plugs or a Miriad of other parts to go wrong or need changing.
Can’t recommend electric motoring highly enough.
https://youtu.be/conyIPlZ_noThis guy does loads of videos about solar, his first ev a kona, Like mine, and switched to an electric mini a year or so there’ll be loads of videos of his experiences.
The range is about right, the average uk daily use for a car is approx 28 miles, and longer journeys are rarer, public chargers are improving all the time and I’ve done 1100 miles last September in Cornwall without issue, and this year we did a similar mileage in Devon, we’re planning a trip to the Lake District next month and use public chargers when needed.
There are good apps such as Zap-Map and PlugShare which tell you if the charger is working, available and how much it costs.
So you’re never that far from an available reliable charger.
