Thanks, very good to read it is not always necessary to have a battery pack as an interface and there is plenty of scope for development yet thumbs

I'm not a fan of batteries at all as folk will have gathered.


JCB say that their 20 ton machine needs an 8 ton battery to replace the diesel engine. The knock on effect means that you now have a 28 ton machine that needs all of its component parts increasing in size.

Their hydrogen engine will be a similar price to the diesel it replaces - batteries are considerably more expensive.



Having a little patience will provide the right answer for me, I'm in no rush - Bamford has a clever team behind him and is a proven right decision maker..
