Update;
Had a good look at my brake light problem this morning.
Found that my activation switch is in fact on brake pedal. Being 17 stone and KOS (Knackered ol' s**t) it was a bit awkward to access. However...Bridged the two connectors and confirmed micro switch not working.
Immediately Ordered new one on 48hr delivery :
https://morgan-kent.com/product/brake-light-switch-2006-on/Then for fun took the old one to bits, cleaned up contacts and reassembled. Plugged in two connectors to test. Needless to say works fine!!
Decided to wait for new one (just in case) and if it arrives in time to fit will fit the new one prior to MOT.
Just for others. If your pedal micro switch fails you can probably repair it. Once out of car it took 15 mins. No parts needed but it is a bit fiddly on assembly. Will keep as spare.
