The 22MY car has the same catches at the back as my Plus 4 and Roadster did. I find they work OK if adjusted properly. When I had the car serviced at Ledgerwood's they always tightened it up too much and I had to slacken it off. The Plus Four has a much better lever to release it.
Any chance of a photo John, as one or two of us have broken the plastic ones on trads & I wonder if they are interchangeable ?
