The solution would be to unstick the rear mirror support and glue it lower.
If you do manage to unstick the mirror mount, please let us know how -- I've tried all sorts of solutions and mine is still well and truly STUCK ! Something to do with the adhesive, the sort that gets harder as it is exposed to ultra-violet light. Any really aggressive intervention to remove it will almost certainly crack the screen, and you don't want to do that !
