I ordered up a set of BRBs from Williams as I have the wings off at the moment. The set does not have a washer welded to one end but the hole for the oiler bolt is elongated. The lower end of the BRB seems to fit onto one of the fixings for the tyre rubbing block. Is the elongated hole there to take care of any "misalignment" of the crossframe? And does this compromise the solidity of the fixing at the oiler bolt?
