Remote greasing means you dont need to get down under the wheel arch.... but Craigs car shows he goes down under to keep it so clean?
When greasing the surplus grease exits the various points around the stub axle, roller bearings etc and if you don't go under there then you will have an almighty mess...so I grease while under there and clean up the surplus...so whats the point of the remote greasing?
As John V6 has said below, this is my reasoning. As I don't have a trigger type grease gun, it is often really awkward to be underneath the car trying to. Make sure a good seal in the nipple. Much easier from the engine bay, and then a good look under to wipe away any excess. We that's the way its going to be once fitted.
