... we could be comparing Mogs from sub £20k to over £60k here, perhaps a £ insurance cost per £1k value would be more accurate ?
Not just value but also the owner's age, driving record, claims history and, as previously pointed out, postcode. Also whether it is the main transport or a secondary car on a policy with no NCD.
Given all the variables it's perhaps surprising how similar the amounts are.
