Actually I need to correct my previous post. When they were first taken over a couple of years ago the quote for one of my cars doubled. I called them and they could do nothing. So I called the new ceo and he was a very decent bloke, agreed one more year at previous figure but explained to me that the profit they made on insuring my vehicle almost didn't cover the cost of issuing the paperwork. He was very reasonable about it. So in a way it was bottom line that started my misgivings.
Since then though they seem to have become more mainstream, less specialist. Conversations with them no longer focussed around Morgan type ownership.
Blanket corporate answers. Fewer insurance options. In frustration I called G and W and was treated to a bright, intelligent enthusiastic specialist so I went for that.
I was a reluctant mover as I had found Headley faultless over many, many years until now.
