I just wish there was some form of technology that meant they woud only switch on if there were no vehicles behind you, and they switched off automatically once another car was close enough to be aware of your presence......
I do this 'manually' in fog, but so many just leave them on regardless of other road users.

Indeed, caused by drivers with brain fog, because they are so accustomed to all this automated crap on modern tin tops so they don't pay attention anymore
