Bit warm here, but still got my suit jacket on, so not unbearable. Came to work in the Mog (aeroscreens) so much cooler journey home than the tintop.
Mind you, only 49% of kids have bothered to come in......
Is that sort of attendance typical of what you get when the kids have an excuse ( snow, heat etc) not to come in? If it is then no wonder we have the problems we have. Must be very dispiriting for the teachers.
A neighbour is a teacher and she told me that during lockdown, when they offered lessons via the internet, they couldnt start them til 10 am because the kids were in bed and even afterwards fewer than half bothered to participate.
