Fair enough. If we focus on running costs, then for a complete picture we should also factor in taxation, insurance, and servicing too, and that takes my Defender up really quite a lot higher than the Mini.
I don't think anyone has ever claimed every type of EV is cheaper to run than every type of ICE vehicle, though. Clearly your Audi is currently working out cheaper to run than a similar EV In my case, I compare the running costs of the vehicles I own.
