So did I, but if we are on the EV thing then the costs & hidden pollution form the batteries is also a factor. Hydrogen would be the best as you are not lugging a ton or so of batteries about.
Exactly Hydrogen would begin to interest me with the necessary battery interface assuming current technology has not replaced it with an Electolytic super capacitor by then, I live in hope I will not require either but always take an interest in the technology just in case.
Running three ICE units one of which is a V8 tbh I'd feel more than a little hypocritical running a pure EV as a replacement for any of them, besides my family and mates would rip the piss out of me something chronic..
