The short answer is yes , it is possible, at a cost.
The long answer is that it is lot of work, for precious little gain. Unless you are going to do all the work yourself (or have a very good "mates rates" deal, it is going to be hopelessly uneconomic (in Europe anyway, and possibly in Canada?) New Tub , near rear springs and dampers, new fuel tank (?) , new seat belt mounting points to name but a few items.
