the Triumph Dolomite (all),1976 to 1981 . the Triumph Dolomite Sprint, 1973 to 1981 and the Triumph 2000 2500, 1975 to 1976 though there are many
very similar controls Lucas hey made used on other vehicle. They are merely not exactly what Morgan used. If one googles "Lucas SQB119" one will find many sources
I haven't had a problem yet. Here is one available from a search I did 2 minutes ago. I assume it is wanted in the UK, right? Of course, the prices vary wildly.

I always have one in spares, for two reasons. 1. They will fail without warning, and 2. eventually supply might dry up and I might need a bit of time to source a replacement.
Actually, I have mused that the entire column is less than stellar, (their collapsible feature breaks and their control stalks are neither great nor good looking. I have been
lazily investigating replacement options, most of which come with any choice of column controls one could want including a tilt feature that does away with the need for
he Long Doors' pushed forward dash and creates even more steering wheel clearance for larger Morgan tummies. smile The stalks are metal.

Firstly I apologise for contributing to the proliferation of a thread in the wrong section. But with regard to the new SQB119 switches I found them to be of an inferior quality compared to the original Lucas swiches, and that's not saying a lot.
In an attempt to solve this problem I decided to rework an original indicator switch. Firstly I dismantled the afore mentioned switch and enlarged the central hole, in the switch base in which the switchgear rotates, and fitted a bush made of Peek which reduced the hole size to give close transition fit for the switchgear pin. I then modified the indicator arm detent arrangement, which I have always found to be not very positive due to the friction created when the detent rides up out of the centre knotch, this I achieved by machining a slot through the centre of the knotch and fitting two small rollers that rotate as the detent rides up out of the off position and passes over the crest of the roller to give location to the left and right switch positions
Also as the switch was dismantled I extracted the indicator arm from its base, removed its sleeving and formed the arm in a tight S bend, then replaced the original sleeving with heatshrink.
The re-worked switch has now been fitted to my car for 18 months, its function has been as I hoped, positive and problem free. However I have fitted relays so I don't have to do the job again.
