Many thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated. I was so frustrated with the responses from Morgan on this and other issues that I had the vehicle independently inspected and sure enough the suspension “repair” was illegal. News of the inspection sparked an immediate offer to replace both rear springs. I had rung the good people at Brands Hatch Morgan prior to the inspection who were most helpful and prescribed exactly the same check of the front as you have. So it’s back to the work shop again.
