Mine was red with a black vinyl roof on Wolfrace alloys ..... really enjoyed that car and Mrs image still remembers it fondly to this day (it being the driving experience that finally converted her from being an exclusively 2 wheeled girl) .... it was before digital cameras and I've always been a reluctant photographer so I don't have a single pic of it.
On the subject of the big Reliants, as I've said before, my favourite was the SE4 Coupe .... a really classic shape and, up until recently, stupidly cheap

Yes they are smooth, we needed the space afforded by the GTE as we had a young child - it was quite an interesting project fitting the child's car seat.
Interestingly Mrs Rich liked driving it too unlike the Plus 8's, mind she would have swapped it back for the Ami 8 in a heartbeat I had to wrestle the wheel off her she was so into driving and using the inertia it was fun to passenger, not that I told her that
Like you I don't think about taking photographs too much so very few of any of our cars.
I can remember all of our cars Registration numbers straight off the top of my head so something is still working up there - sad isn't it - the GTE was YVG 612L in Wessex green.
