EURO 7 is not yet agreed by the European Parliament and in the aftermath of the energy crisis it may well be kicked down the road. EURO 6 is the default standard and for ICE Cars EURO 7 emissions are unchanged. What EURO 7 does is to put new limits on brake dust and tyre dust. This will encourage PHEVs with regenerative braking, which is no bad thing.
If low emission zones jump to EURO 7 all they will do, in my view, is punish those least able to afford it without achieving much!!
