Our Plus Six is a MY21 model year. We have had heaps of different issues with it, enough to almost fill up a A4 sheet of paper, having said this the factory and dealer have perservered above and beyond and hopefully after the next scheduled return to dealer it will be sorted. We kept faith with the car because it was exactly what we wanted, we find the seats are absolutely fine, its cabin is wider between seats than our old Roadster plus leg room is now good for me ( I am over 6ft in height ) These points make a comfortable driving position and the car is fun to drive. The cars lack of traction control is not an issue for us as the car is mainly used for touring.
Now would I buy a MY 23 model with all the lastest changes and price and the answer is absolutely not.. I find the MY23 dash hideous, for me it just does not work and has ruined the interiors look. Plus no way would I spec with part cloth upholstery. The addition of traction control would not make me buy it, as it gives yet more levels of complexity. Having already experienced the issues with our MY years systems I do not trust Morgans ability to provide quality and reliability to yet another semi complex system. The only bit that interests me is the change of braking system, but I suspect that was mainly undertaken to allow for traction control.
This bit may annoy...... I think that the issue now with the higher price range is that the cars cost does not reflect in the standard of overall quality of its components and its construction..Morgan need to hugely step up their quality control.
