The 2023 CX cars are, from my inspection in the Williams show room, all they should have been. I was impressed by the fit and finish and the many engineering changes, some subtle, some major.
Henry told me that the brakes were "sorted" by Brembo: how was this arranged? The Morgan CEO has close connections with the CEO of Brembo, who own AP Racing.

BUT the Aeros have AP Racing brakes that are generally considered to be superb, so what went wrong between Morgan and AP Racing since they worked together on the Aero chassis cars 20 years ago, could it be the loss of Charles Morgan? The result is that the first generation CX cars have brakes that were inferior, at best and unusable, at worst, causing a recall that was a massive overreaction.

Anyway, I'm taking a PlusFour out for a test drive in March. I was underwhelmed by the launch CX Plus Six

Might I be swayed? As David has said above, the pricing of the 2023 models takes them into another world. I compared the price of a new edition of my Boxster S with a similarly specified Plus Four. The Boxster is a shade cheaper. The Plus Six is in the bottom of the 911 market. I too have concerns that they are moving into a world that most of the team at Malvern simply don't comprehend. The CEO does, the investors can keep the finances going, but will the market buy a £140,000 Morgan?
Possibly, based on the prices some used Aeros and AeroMax cars make. I'm hopeful, but not yet convinced.

Interesting times.
