Agreed as with many thing we were poorly educated around many things that became significant issues.

Smoking was considered cool. When I was five we were in Malaysia and my parent covered me with Olive Oil to avoid my skin drying out and burning. Imagine being caught doing that at the park now!

I guess my point would have been better expressed as the confined spaces of the LU made this more apparent a long time ago.

We were looking to work with LU for some WiFi access which is now abundant. When we first did the test work we were warned about the rats (packs of) and dust eating or wrecking everything. I got into trouble with the product management team for feeding back the LU operations teams comment. "Thats made of a cheap plastic, the rats will eat it in one sitting. You will either need to put a corning glass dome or a metal case on it if you don't want to be down replacing them every day.". It seems our PM team did not have the same sense of humour as British Ops team.
