I've had 2 boxsters, 2 water cooled 911's and 2 air cooled 911's, (I also had a Macan, but hated it!!).
I've had 11 Morgans.......don't ask, it's a serious affliction.
I'm not claiming any of the above qualifies me in any way to comment on the 2 manufacturers....But.....

As much as I like Porsche I can't see me ever having another, they've become a bit boring, predictable and soulless. They have become very much a demonstration of wealth, achievement and image nowadays. Very fast, which in the modern world is absolutely pointless, Boxsters do handle well, but they're still Porsches. Try getting out at a junction in a Porsche......no one lets you out....!!!!

Morgan:- character, emotion, quirkiness and style. Poorly built, low tech pseudo vintage motoring.
I think Peter, you had a trad before the Aero. Another trad car is the way forward (backward)...

I think that the mistake often made by folk who can afford it, is thinking that because their Morgan cost a lot of money it will be high quality or well made and comparable products from 'real' car builders.
Morgan themselves have, and have had, aspirations of becoming a big time car builder, but aspiration and ambition is tricky if it isn't backed by huge development budgets.

I like the CX cars but they're too much tech and too much money. I think that is probably true of the Aero chassis cars as well.
