Have a look at the screenshot of the German autodoc site. Down at the right side you see your engine in green letters as compatible with this sensor.

If you click on the UK autodoc site the + symbol at the Ford brand which I linked to you, you just see among others, Ford Mondeo MK3 2000 - 2007 110 - 226 HP which includes your engine.
