Thanks for the information, I’ve ordered the part so hopefully I’ll get it booked in to get it changed.
The OEM part number was MEE3060 and was 258 plus VAT. The part from autodoc was under £40 delivered.
It made me smile with the service interval on this sensor to be 160,000 Kim’s, my plus 4 has done less than 2,000 miles! So conclusion being that either it’s failed massively prematurely or it’s not the upstream Lambda. Fault code for the MIL was upstream lambda and the fumes really do smell very strongly of unburnt hydrocarbons again backed up by a huge reading on the gas analyser that would fail an MOT.
Here’s hoping the new sensor solves it, if not I’ll be back for more advice! smile
