I'm surprised at your experience Neil, Taffy who is the exclusive Morgan mechanic is ex REME and any work he has done on our Mog's has been to a very high standard. Julian is the Morgan Sales Manager, as I am sure that you already know, and again I have bought Mog's and other cars through him and would not hesitate to recommend him and SGT highly. Obviously, I have no connection with the business other than as a satisfied customer.
I would like to Second Aeromans comments, SGT being the supplier and servicing agent of the two Morgans we have owned.
'Taff' is an excellent technician as is Julian a Salesman. However, It is a small Morgan Dealership within a much larger company (with only one person of each specialising on their Morgans). Obviously, they can also be busy and cannot always be available to a cold caller (myself included).
My recommendation would be to go down there with your Mog and meet up with Taff and get to know him to ensure that he is aware of your problems. He is always keen to know his customers and their cars and I am sure that Julian will take more than great interest in ensuring that they are providing excellent service.
