I have a Max for three years now and it has been a joy......after a number of irritating teething problems
Most of the issues I faced are very similar to the Aero 8, such as tyre pressure indicator, aircon fan, water ingress in doors that open windows, exhaust brackets etc...
The only specific to the Max were related to the rear windows which were glued using improper glue and flew off on the motorway during a sunny and warm day, and later let some water in, that short circuited the tail lights and open the windows under heavy rain.
Now sorted by putting a few spacers under the latches, changing the rubber joints and using proper sikaflex
Mine is fitted with an autobox that suits the car very well
Maintenance has been reasonable over the last three years and 30.000 kilometers (One set of tyres, couple of oil changes et that is all)
